The project is born from the desire to bring new life to a home that has weathered the years, preserving its soul while opening it to new ways of living and sharing. Situated in the peaceful surroundings of Calle del Camp, the house is envisioned as a refuge, a place where every corner invites lingering, and where light, materials, and spaces weave a story of continuity and renewal. This is not merely a renovation: it is the opportunity to rediscover the home, to make it truly ours, imagining moments filled with life and small everyday emotions. The extension integrates naturally, as if it had always been part of the whole. A staircase rises with subtle and elegant gesture, almost floating, connecting spaces with ease. Concrete, wood, and glass engage in dialogue, creating an architecture that seeks authenticity rather than prominence; a place where simplicity transforms into beauty.
Subtle dichotomies emerge in every corner: shelter and openness, weight and lightness, intimacy and connection with the outside. The façade opening onto the garden lets light in, shaping the interiors throughout the day and offering shifting atmospheres that accompany the life of the inhabitants. The space becomes both welcoming and bold, warm and serene at once. This project aims to invite living the house with intensity, making it one’s own, and building new memories, while preserving the warmth that makes it unique and memorable.
