Casa 1945
Tamariu, Baix Empordà
2019
The project envisions a house that adapts to the slope of the terrain, engaging in dialogue with the light and views of Tamariu, as if each level responds to the surrounding landscape. The two entrances at different levels become part of the arrival experience, guiding a gentle transition from exterior to interior. The layout, organized in a linear strip with a central courtyard running through the building, allows light and ventilation to cross all spaces, creating vibrant areas that connect the home with the Baix Empordà landscape.
The house is conceived as a simple and welcoming refuge, where materials and volumes seek serenity. Large windows open the interiors to the landscape, making light a central element of the architecture. Each level adapts smoothly to the topography, creating spaces that invite calm living, where interior and exterior merge into a harmonious experience, full of tranquility and everyday beauty.
