Casa 2194
Olot, Garrotxa
2021
The project envisions a detached single-family home unfolding over three levels, with a garage, ancillary spaces, and a pool that dialogues with the garden, creating a refuge where life can unfold calmly. Located in the municipality of Olot, the architecture seeks to integrate with the landscape and local tradition, producing a house that celebrates its relationship with the surroundings and offers spaces designed for serene living. The volumetry is conceived as a play of boxes supporting a large roof, generating open and luminous rooms where daily life can flow naturally.
The materials seek simplicity and warmth: stone on the ground floor, volumes clad in wood, and earthy tones that harmonize with the landscape. This architecture aims not only to be functional but also welcoming, creating spaces that invite enjoyment of everyday life and connection with the environment. Every detail is considered to offer a residential experience that celebrates the beauty of small moments and the tranquility of a refuge.
