Casa 2302
Serra de Daró, Baix Empordà
2023
The project takes root in the heart of the Serra de Daró, in a landscape that breathes calm and memory. On a spacious plot in the Baix Empordà, the intervention seeks to engage in dialogue with the history of the site and with the presence of the farmhouse known as Can Pou, a place that has witnessed the passage of time and is now being renewed with sensitivity. The house is conceived as a refuge that honors its past while opening its doors to new ways of living, where the relationship with the landscape becomes an essential part of the experience. Architecture unfolds with subtlety, without seeking prominence, allowing materials, light, and openings to speak for themselves, creating a balance between memory and renewal.
The spaces are designed to invite tranquility and connection with nature, offering corners that blend tradition and contemporaneity. The renovation aims to be an invitation to rediscover the farmhouse, to inhabit it with a fresh perspective, and to build moments that endure, always in dialogue with the surrounding landscape, where every detail —stone, wood, light— contributes warmth and character, giving the house a presence that is both gentle and strong.
